Genuine Full Grain Cowhide
Real full grain cowhide cut from a single hide, the natural surface left intact. What you see is the real grain, not split-leather scrap with pressed pattern on top. Soft enough to break in around a puppy’s neck, strong enough to hold the spikes for the years she will wear it.
Solid Brass Spikes
Solid brass spikes set across the strap, sized in proportion to the collar. Not plated, not hollow, not plastic dipped in metallic paint. Each one is set by hand through the full thickness of the leather and clinched flat on the back, so it stays where it was put for as long as the collar lasts.
Brass Buckle and D Ring
Roller buckle and welded D ring, solid brass throughout. The D ring is welded shut. Even a small dog can hit the end of the leash hard, and a press fit ring is the part that lets go first.
Brass That Ages With You
Solid brass does what plated metal never can. After a year of walks, sun, and rain, the brass on this collar mellows into a warm vintage glow, the kind you see on a pair of old boots that have been worn for years. The collar gets more its own with every season.
